Faculty Appointment in Theology: John Wesley Honors College, Indiana Wesleyan University

Indiana Wesleyan University invites applications for a permanent, full-time, early-career faculty appointment in theology in its John Wesley Honors College (JWHC) to start in August 2018. The successful candidate must hold an earned doctorate in theology or a related field and should be a promising/accomplished scholar and teacher in his or her area of specialty. Likewise, he or she should have a strong interest in participating in an interdisciplinary learning community devoted to the big questions of human existence and to the intersections of faith and liberal learning. Interests in aesthetics and/or questions of race, class, and gender are also desirable. Due to the wide-ranging theological character of the JWHC’s honors humanities core, the successful candidate must demonstrate a facility for thinking theologically across a broad range of academic disciplines and contemporary issues.
